NOT A SOFT SKILL

⚠️Polite Reminder‼️: Storytelling is NOT a “SOFT SKILL”.
It’s how leaders turn complexity into clarity.
It’s how consultants turn insight into action.
It’s how sales teams make their products & services relevant.
It’s how CEOs turn strategy into belief.
A story can align a board, unlock a budget, change a decision, win a client or move thousands of people to act.
In an AI world where information is abundant, the scarce skill is making people care about what matters.
That isn’t a soft skill. It’s a really HARD skill.
Storytelling isn’t taken seriously enough in most businesses because its impact is often measured with engagement metrics and NPS surveys. Preference. Consideration. Awareness
The best business storytelling can be measured in economic value. With clear attribution. Usually in $$$.
Storytelling works when the CFO takes notice of it.
Storytelling is problem solving with words.
It’s not just about making people FEEL something - it’s about making your audience DO something.
Just a reminder. 😉
As you were…
